enVerid Launches New Free Professional Development Course on Performance-Based Ventilation Design

enVerid’s new free online course entitled “Improve IAQ, Reduce Carbon Emissions and Save Energy With Performance-Based Ventilation Design” launched today on AEC Daily, a provider of online professional development courses. The course offers an overview of the Indoor Air Quality Procedure (IAQP) set out in ASHRAE Standard 62.1. Unlike the commonly used, prescriptive Ventilation Rate Procedure (VRP), the IAQP is performance-based, taking into account the specific factors at play determining IAQ in any given commercial building. The course explains IAQP and how it is calculated, offers case studies, and with completion of a test, confers professional development credits from LEED AP BD+C, LEED AP O+M, LEED Green Associate, and WELL AP, as well as ASHRAE, AIA, GBCI, BOMI, ACIA, AIBD, AIC, CCIDC, FBPE, InterNACHI, LSBAE, NAHB, NARI, RCEP, RMMI, AAA, AAPEI, AIBC, CAHPI, CSC, NLAA, NWTAA, OAA, OAQ, and SAA credits, including HSW (Health, Safety and Welfare) credits.
