Territory Sales Manager

Multiple positions in New England, the Southeast, Miami, Chicago, Ohio, & Toronto

Reporting to the Vice President of Sales, the Regional Sales Manager will be responsible for the growth of enVerid’s business in an assigned territory including building territory plans to drive growth, identifying and onboarding re-seller partners, training and supporting partners in their engagements with Mechanical Consulting Engineers, and managing and being accountable for pipeline expansion and conversion. The ideal candidate will have experience in HVAC, building automation, commercial real estate, and/ or energy services and a passion for bringing innovative clean technologies to market. He or she will be a team player with an entrepreneurial spirit, a track record of success in B2B channel sales, technical aptitude, and a passion for making a difference.

Core Responsibilities

  • Become expert in our technology, relevant codes, incentive structures, green building programs, and market trends related to indoor air quality that support the deployment of our technology
  • Build and executive a territory plan that leverages re-seller partners to maximize growth
  • Identify, onboard, train and support partners in their prospecting activities with Mechanical Consulting Engineers working on HVAC projects that could incorporate enVerid’s technology
  • Train the market on the benefits of enVerid’s technology and how to integrate our technology into new and existing buildings in compliance with relevant building codes, LEED standards, etc.
  • Manage enVerid’s relationships with re-seller partners and the Mechanical Consulting Engineering firms in the assigned territory and represent enVerid at relevant industry events
  • Use a consultative sales approach to overcome objections and navigate roadblocks to achieve a positive outcome for enVerid, our partners, and the building owner/ occupier
  • Ensure timely follow-up on all project leads and project analysis requests
  • Work collaboratively with teammates to meet customer needs and improve business processes
  • Track and record all sales activity and submit weekly reports as requested by management

Required Qualifications

  • 5+ years of high performance in B2B channel sales
  • Experience developing and executing territory sales plans
  • Experience in HVAC, building automation, commercial real estate, and/or energy services
  • Strong presentation and relationship skills
  • Strong technical acumen / engineering experience (preferably mechanical)
  • Ability to travel up to 75% of the time

Desired Qualifications

  • Experience in HVAC and/or equipment sales
  • Experience working with HVAC Reps and/or Mechanical Consulting Engineers
  • Technical degree (bachelor of science or engineering degree)
